Los Angeles’ ever-expanding gallery scene has just added one more powerhouse to its roster. Gallery 1,2 is located in L.A.'s newest art hot-spot: The Fashion, Arts & Education District
(F-ART-ED). “While most galleries are getting bigger, we believe Gallery 1,2 presents a more intimate experience. A place to sit, to think, to do your business... all while admiring great art”, says Bruce Adlhoch, Founder & Curator. The gallery will focus on emerging artists and the occasional emerging sculpture, so to speak.
Featuring an expansive 3’ x 6’ showroom, Gallery 1,2 makes its debut featuring a single work entitled Lights, Camera, Teddy! discovered at Goodwill Industries. “We are fortunate to have acquired this work before the major collectors and musuems discovered it, and we feel this piece represents a new ‘movement' in the art community”, comments Adlhoch.
Gallery hours are by appointment only, and on a first-come, first-served basis. The gallery is generally busiest in the mornings, late evenings and occasionally around 3am.
